PAMPHYLIA. Side. Circa 430-400 BC. Stater (Silver, 26 mm, 10.78 g, 3 h). Pomegranate within dotted circular border. Rev. Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet; in field to right, olive branch; all within incuse square. Atlan 43 (O37/A41). Boston MFA 2103. SNG Copenhagen 369. SNG Paris 628-9 (all from the same dies). A beautiful piece with a wonderful reverse. Struck from a slightly worn obverse die, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
